Ina R. Ferguson, 97 of Temperance, MI, died Saturday, August 23, 2014 in her home. Born Dec. 17, 1916 in Tompkinsville, KY, she was the daughter of Benton and Ethel (Rush) McMillin. Ina married Joseph W. Ferguson on April 14, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1970. She enjoyed crocheting quilting, gardening and canning and passed the love of those to her children.
Ina is survived by her loving children; Carmen (Ron) Cousino, Marvell (Richard) Edinger, Arthur, Drexel, Don (Marty), Michael (Val), Cynthia and Patrick Ferguson, Son-in-law, Rusty Claussen, 30 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by daughters; Ina Jo Bylund, Kay Claussen, 2 grandsons, Dylan Hartsford and Joseph Swan and several brothers and sisters. She had a total of 88 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Thursday, August 28, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
